The Independent National Electoral Electoral Commission (INEC), has released an update on the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).
According to INEC, in the week one of the fourth quarter on Monday April 19, 2022, fresh registrants hit eight million, two hundred and seventy one thousand, six hundred and fourty-seven (8,271,647).
Figures released by the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC chairman, Mr Rotimi Oyekanmi, showed that completed registration stood at 4,806,616, online registration is 2,079,303 while physical registrants stood at 2,727,313.
Further classifications of the registrants were that the number of the male registrants which stood at 2,391,227, female registrants stood at 2,415,313 while the figure of People Living with Disability (PWDs) stood at 41,033.
The commission said the number of the youth registrants between 18 and 34 years stood at 3,318,267.
