APC E-Registration: Gov. AbdulRazaq receives North-Central vice chairman

Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Tuesday received APC North Central Vice Chairman, Alhaji Muazu Bawa, during a working visit to Kwara.

Bawa said the visit was part of a tour to monitor the ongoing electronic registration of APC members across North-Central states.

AbdulRazaq said Kwara had recorded notable success, assuring intensified efforts to boost registrations despite network challenges.

“With 227,000 members registered, we still have more to do, and we will achieve more,” the governor said.

He praised President Bola Tinubu for commitment to the party, good governance and economic reforms attracting new APC members.

“The party is waxing stronger because people recognise stability, progress and economic foresight within the APC,” AbdulRazaq said.

The governor supported calls to extend the registration window and urged financial membership to strengthen commitment, recalling First Republic practices.

“This exercise is unique. The NIN requirement will authenticate our registers. We should have implemented it earlier,” he added.

Bawa commended the governor, saying Kwara recorded the highest number of registrants in the North Central zone.

“I have visited Nasarawa, Benue, Plateau and Niger, but Kwara stands out. If given another week, the state will surpass its target,” Bawa said.

APC state chairman, Mr Sunday Fagbemi, and e-registration coordinator, Mubarak Salau Bello, briefed the delegation on progress.

Bello said 227,000 members were registered within three weeks, projecting 400,000 if the exercise is extended by two weeks.
