BREAKING: COMEG inducts 236 corporate members, 23 individual members in 15th oath taking ceremony

The Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG) has inducted 236 corporate members and 23 individual members in the 15th induction and oath taking ceremony of the regulatory body.

Registrar of the Council, Prof. Zacheaus Opafunso who performed the oat taking ceremony with the assistance of the President of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), Ms Rose Ndong in Abuja on Thursday, pledged the commitment of the Council to ensuring professionalism and orderly development of the Nigerian extractive sector, assuring that COMEG is already strengthening professionalism.

As part of the ceremony, the Council convened a Geo-Enterpreneurship Training Workshop as part of policy efforts to enhance productivity, strengthen business capacity, and service delivery of mining engineers and Geoscientists.
