Hajiya Aisha Mamma, mother of National Security Adviser (NSA) Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has passed away
Also known as Hajja Mamma, she died on Monday morning at the age of 86. She was the mother of the Emir of Fufore, HRH Sani Ribadu, as well.
Among the first prominent figures to pay their respects was Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani). During her visit, Binani described the late matriarch as a “mother to all,” whose wisdom, prayers, and guidance reached far beyond her immediate family to the wider community.
“We have lost a pillar of strength,” Binani said.
“Her life embodied patience, humility, and devotion. While we mourn with the Emir and the NSA, we find comfort in the exemplary life she led and the giants she raised for our state and nation.”
Funeral rites were conducted according to Islamic tradition, drawing a large gathering of mourners. The attendees included high-ranking government officials, security chiefs, and traditional rulers from across the North-East, who came together to honour Hajiya Aisha’s memory and console the Ribadu family.
