
The Federal Government has reaffirmed its dedication to enhancing healthcare service delivery nationwide, aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Truthng reports that the Deputy Senate President, Sen. Barau Jibrin, made this known on Sunday when he inspected some ongoing health projects at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano.
He said the intervention included Cardio-Cerebral and Pediatric Centres, as well as hostels for Nursing students, expected to boost bed space and enhance service delivery.
“The initiatives align with President Tinubu’s vision for a revitalized healthcare sector,” he stated.
Jibrin said with experienced medical students and modern health facilities, Nigeria can achieve subsisting national healthcare goals.
The hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Prof. Abdulrahman Sheshe, expressed gratitude for the intervention.
He said the intervention would facilitate effective healthcare delivery in the state, North-West and Nigeria in general.
Sheshe also said that the facilities were on track, expressing confidence that that they would be completed and inaugurated as scheduled, saying, “they reflect Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to the health sector.
