
The Nasarawa State Government says it is committed to the development of rural areas through its policies and programmes.
Alhaji Mohammed Muluku , the Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development, stated this on Tuesday while playing host to Ezhiba community of the state in Nasarawa Eggon LGA
Muluku said that Gov. Abdullahi Sule had developed so many rural areas as well as provided potable water across communities in order to improve the lives of the rural dwellers.
He appreciated the community for always identifying with the state government’s policies and programmes and called for more support to Sule’s administration to succeed.
Gov. A A Sule had constructed so many roads and executed various water supply projects in communities across the state,” he said
The commissioner also used the medium to call on the community to continue to remain united, embrace peace and support Sule’s administration to succeed.
Muluku also appreciated the community for identifying with him over the death of Sen. Godiya Akwashiki
He urged the people of the community to pray for the reposed of the soul of Akwashiki.
Earlier, the delegation of the Ezhiba community had condoled with Muluku over Sen. Godiya Akwashiki”s( SDP- Nasarawa North) death.
Chief Danlami Umbugadu, the Village Head of the community said that the visit was to appreciate the commissioner for attracting a school project to the area.
