Nollywood actress Sarah Martins recently slumped and was rushed to the hospital following a frightening health scare.
In an emotional post on Instagram, the actress revealed that she woke up unable to feel parts of her body, feeling for a moment as if she were lifeless. Despite the alarming sensation, she went to her shop to carry out inventory checks and conduct a few interviews for incoming staff—only to collapse shortly after.
At the hospital, Sarah underwent over 32 medical tests, including screenings for cancer, fibroids, kidney and liver issues, malaria, and typhoid—all of which returned negative results.
She wrote:
“I woke up today and couldn’t feel any part of my body. For a second, I felt lifeless. I still pushed myself to my stores to do inventory and a few interviews for incoming employees, and that was when I slumped.
“All through December, I worked every single day. Even when my staff travelled for the season celebrations, I kept going—no days off, no breaks… just tirelessly working for others and forgetting myself.
“I did over 32 tests today, and all came back negative, including cancer, fibroid, liver, kidney, malaria, typhoid, etc. I guess God protected my organs while I neglected my body.
“I’m typing this from a sick bed, but I will be fine because the God who watches over the vulnerable kids I care for will never fail me. Doctors say I’m extremely exhausted and need proper rest. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for your constant protection over my life.”
