2019: Don’t let APC intimidate you, PDP Dep Nat Chair, tell Nigerians

 

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Elder Yemi Akinwonmi has called on Nigerians to confidently exercise their franchise in the forthcoming presidential elections, saying that memebers of the PDP should not allow themselves to be intimidated by the security apparatus of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

A statement signed by his Personal Assistant, Mr Anthony Agbetuyi said the Deputy National Chairman at a townhall meeting in his country home Ayede, Ogun-Water side Local Government area of Ogun-State, urged PDP members to vote out the ruling All Progressives Congress.

“Elder Yemi Akinwonmi urged all the PDP members to vote for total change in the next year general election by voting PDP Presidential Candidate, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar as the next President of our country Nigeria so that Nigeria can start working again.

“He encouraged PDP members to come out and vote out hunger, hardship, insecurity and other negative vices the rulling party APC represents so that common man can be able to provide three square meal for his family.

The statement further said Akinwonmi also encouraged all Christians and Muslims to use this festive period to pray for successful conduct of 2019 general elections.

He also used the opportunity to inform members of the PDP to vote for the party candidates at all levels.
