Buhari demonstrated unwavering commitment to insurance growth – NAICOM

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and the entire insurance industry have expressed their condolences over the passing of former President, Muhammadu Buhari, who died on Sunday, July 13, at the age of 82.

Mr Olusegun Omosehin, in a statement issued on Monday, described the late President as a leader whose tenure left a lasting impact on the growth and development of the insurance sector in Nigeria.

“It is with profound sadness that we received the news of the passing of His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“On behalf of NAICOM and the entire insurance industry, I extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the good people of Nigeria,” he said.

Omosehin noted that Buhari demonstrated unwavering commitment to strengthening the nation’s economic landscape, including significant support for the insurance industry.

“May his legacy continue to inspire us as we strive to build a more resilient and prosperous Nigeria,” he said.
