
The Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Persons With Disabilities (NCPWD), Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan heartily congratulates Rt Hon Ahmed Idris Wase CON on his appointment as the Plateau State Amir Hajj 2025.
In his reaction to the appointment by the Plateau State Government, Chief Burki notes that the appointment is well deserved as Rt Hon Ahmed Idris Wase, the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and member representing Wase Federal Constituency is well suited for the appointment as a square peg in a square hole.

In this role, he is expected to lead Plateau State Muslim pilgrims to Mecca, organizing, leading, and ensuring the safety and smooth execution of the 2025 pilgrimage, overseeing logistics, guiding the pilgrims, and ensuring its success.
