
China’s fixed-asset investment grew 7.7 per cent year-on-year in the first five months of 2025, the country’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), says.
The NBS said that the growth excluded the property sector of the country between January and May.
It said that infrastructure investment in the country rose 5.6 per cent year-on- year, while manufacturing investment also increased by 8.5 per cent.
NBS said that investment in the primary industry grew 8.4 per cent year-on-year, while secondary industry investment rose to 11.4 per cent.
It said that the tertiary industry saw investment decline by 0.4 per cent.
