The University of Ilesa (UNILESA) has received a significant boost with the official handover of 24 housing units from the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development on March 26, 2026. This milestone marks a major achievement for the University, enhancing its infrastructure to support academic growth.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu FCA, expressed gratitude to the Ministry, assuring the facilities will be put to good use.
The representative of the Honourable Minister, QS Pemi Temitope, noted the housing units will support the University’s mission of academic excellence and sustainable development.
The event was attended by University management members and officials from the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Abuja, and from the Osun State’s Office.
