The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Governor of Kogi State, Oladele John Nihi, has called on youths of the All Progressives Congress in the state to come out in large numbers and vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the party’s presidential direct primary election.
In a statement, Nihi said Tinubu had continued to demonstrate visionary leadership through the Renewed Hope Agenda, which he noted was focused on economic reforms, youth empowerment, infrastructural development and national stability.
According to him, despite prevailing global economic challenges, the administration has remained committed to repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth and prosperity.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to demonstrate visionary leadership through the Renewed Hope Agenda, delivering bold reforms and laying solid foundations for economic growth, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, and national stability,” he stated.
Nihi also praised the leadership of Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing the Kogi State governor as a leader committed to people-oriented governance and grassroots development.
“In Kogi State, we are equally witnessing purposeful governance under the leadership of Ahmed Usman Ododo,” he said.
The governor, according to him, has continued to promote policies that prioritise youth inclusion, education, security and welfare across the state.
Nihi argued that the combination of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Ododo’s leadership provides sufficient reason for young people in Kogi State to support the APC and work for continuity.
“The combination of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Ododo’s progressive leadership gives every young person in Kogi State enough reason to stand firmly with our party and support continuity for greater achievements,” he added.
He urged APC youths across the 21 local government areas of the state to participate peacefully in the exercise and mobilise support for Tinubu.
“Together, we will continue to strengthen our party, consolidate on our achievements, and secure a brighter future for our dear state and nation,” he said.
