The Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, has been commended for setting a high benchmark in leadership through his display of loyalty, humility and trustworthiness since assuming office.
The commendation was given by Oladele John NIHI, Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Governor, in a statement made available to journalists on Sunday.
According to Oladele, Governor Ododo has distinguished himself as a leader committed to peace, stability and inclusive governance, noting his ability to maintain cordial relationships with his predecessor, former Governor Yahaya Bello, other past governors of the state and key stakeholders.
He said the governor’s approach has fostered unity and political harmony in the state, creating an enabling environment for development and progress.
Oladele further praised Governor Ododo’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises, describing his efforts to transform Kogi State as tireless and people-oriented.
“Governor Ododo’s leadership style is a breath of fresh air. His focus on continuity, collaboration and service to the people inspires confidence that Kogi State is on the path to greater achievements,” he said.
He called on citizens of the state to rally behind the governor’s development agenda, stressing that collective support would accelerate progress in critical sectors such as education, healthcare and economic empowerment.
Oladele reaffirmed his support for the governor’s vision, expressing optimism that, under Ododo’s leadership, Kogi State would witness sustainable growth and a brighter future for its people.
