The Minister of Works has approved pedestrian bridges for Soka, Boluwaji and Muslim areas along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway marking the first phase of safety upgrades in Oluyole Federal Constituency.
This follows Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe’s representing Oluyole Federal Constituency recommendation of ten critical locations needing urgent attention: Technical University, Toll Gate, Felele, Soka, Sanyo, Boluwaji, Academy, Eleruku, Muslim and Semi-Bio, extending up to Ojoo.
Hon. Akande-Sadipe said the approval is a major step toward saving lives and improving road safety, adding that efforts will continue to ensure the remaining locations are captured in subsequent phases.
