IN a significant move to bolster consulting services across Africa, Impact Africa Consulting Limited (IACL) has announced a new partnership with the International Consulting Alliance (ICA). This collaboration aims to enhance offerings for governments, NGOs, and private sector companies, particularly in sustainability advisory, enterprise support services, impact assessments, training and capacity building, resource mobilisation, and HSE/OHS services.
Dr. Edward Mungai, Lead Consultant and Partner at IACL, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. Speaking from Nairobi, he stated, ‘We are delighted to be among the few members in Africa joining ICA. This partnership is solely for the benefit of our clients who continually look up to us to make people better.’ He emphasised that the collaboration aligns with IACL’s mission to be client-centric by bringing in more expertise and expanding their practice areas.
The International Consulting Alliance is a network of independent organisations and experts with technical and geographic specialisations, working on various projects globally. Since its inception in 2012, ICA World has facilitated long-term cooperation among trusted partners in development cooperation. The alliance aims to ensure high-quality project delivery and make a sustainable impact.
Mateja Bakker, Director of the International Consulting Alliance, shared her excitement about the partnership, saying, ‘We are thrilled to partner with Impact Africa Consulting Limited and have them join our network. Their dedication to advancing sustainability in Africa and their expertise in other practice areas aligns perfectly with our mission to drive global best practices. We look forward to their impactful contributions and the value they will bring to our community.’
This strategic partnership will enable IACL to offer superior, customised consulting services that incorporate the latest insights and innovative solutions in sustainability. Membership in ICA provides opportunities for collaboration with leading industry experts globally, which will be instrumental in harnessing cutting-edge solutions to address the unique sustainability challenges faced by IACL’s clients.
Solomon Irungu, the Communication and External Relations Lead at Impact Africa, highlighted the strategic advantages of the partnership. ‘This strategic partnership with ICA will significantly enhance how we engage with the external world. Joining forces with a global network of experts will enable us to offer more comprehensive and innovative solutions to our clients and address sustainability challenges more effectively. We believe this will help us forge stronger relationships with stakeholders and partners globally, driving impactful and sustainable change.’
Impact Africa Consulting Limited is committed to sustainability and specialises in developing innovative solutions to address the continent’s unique challenges. The company offers services in sustainability advisory, impact assessment and reporting, and resource mobilization and capacity building. These services empower individuals and organisations to meet global standards and drive effective sustainability strategies and practices. A key component of this is the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Certification training programme, which equips professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in sustainability reporting and practices.
IACL employs a holistic approach to sustainable development, ensuring both businesses and individuals grow sustainably.
