Flagging off the exercise at a Quranic School in Gusau, the Executive Director of the foundation Dr. Abubakar Danladi, said the aim of the programme is to reduce worm related diseases amongst children.
The Director, represented by his programme officer, Shuaibu Uba, said diseases like tape warm, round warm and other intestinal disease mostly affect brain.
“The foundation has concluded plans to assist children, especially those in Qur’anic schools through provision of the drugs for deworming,” he added.
