In order to celebrate distinguished personalities who have contributed immensely to the entrenchment of professionalism in the Nigerian building construction industry, the National Body of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB) is set to induct three personalities into the NIOB College of Fellows, while the FCT Chapter of the Institute will honor four other professionals with NIOB Distinguished Award of Excellence.
The induction and awards ceremony will hold at a Dinner/Reception under the distinguished chairmanship of Senator Joshua Lidani while the President of the NIOB, Prof Yohana Izam and Chairman of the FCT Chapter of the Institute, Bldr. Peter Omale Ameh will be Chief Host and Host, respectively.
Chairman, FCT Chapter of the Institute, Bldr. Peter Omale who made this known in Abuja on Thursday, said one of the strategies of educating the public about the importance of engaging Registered Builders is to celebrate those who have discharged their duties without compromising standards, stating that the Institute will continue to celebrate individuals who attain eminence for practicing in line with global best practice, and who have made the sector proud.
‘As a sign of reverence, we will treat the Fellows of the Institute, new inductees and awardees to a Dinner/Reception by 5.00PM today Thursday November 17, 2022 at the Exclusive Lounge of the NAF Conference Centre, Kado, Abuja,’ he added.
