The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) on Thursday, said it has been consistent in the publication of revenue distribution, adding that it will remain committed to the entrenchment of transparency and accountability in government financial transactions.
A statement from the Office, signed by the Director, Press, Bawa Mokwa, assured that the OAGF will continue to uphold the ideals of prudent financial management, stating that it is up to date in publishing the details of the monthly revenue allocation by the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) to the three tiers of government.
The Office assured that it will sustain the commitment in line with the dictates of accountability.
The statement said: “In line with the policy of the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation to keep Nigerians abreast with government financial inflows and expenditure, the Office has completed the publication of the monthly revenue distribution for 2023.”
The OAGF further explained that the revenue distribution for 2023 was published monthly in print and online media as well as on its website.
“The details of the December 2023 revenue which was shared in January 2024 has already been published on its website,” the statement added.
