Fellow Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II APC Members,
The time is now for us to make a defining choice on who becomes our House of Representatives candidate at the next general elections.
The choice is both stark and crucial because we lost this constituency to the opposition in the last election, amongst other electoral upsets in parts of Lagos.
Our defeat was bolstered by internal divisions within the party; warring factions of diverse camps fighting for supremacy, and a lackluster incumbent lacking the gravitas and energy to rally constituents behind the party.
Today, those divisions have become even more deeper than they were in 2023. Amongst the contending gladiators are those who have become sworn political adversaries, whose supporters have vowed to fight to the finish. As if that is not enough, a defeated septuagenarian is also throwing money around like it is going out of fashion, yet he couldn’t even win when he was in office!!!
In the midst of all these, our people and our party yearn for a departure from the old order — from the same uninspiring actors who have held the party hostage and stifled its growth.
Our energetic youth, dedicated party men and women, and loyal stakeholders earnestly seek a rallying point — someone capable of uniting the party and mobilizing it against a formidable opposition incumbent, backed by a riled up base.
That is why I have stepped into this race: to offer the much-needed breath of fresh air.
My mission is not to take sides with warring factions but to offer myself as a unifier with the pedigree, experience, capacity, and influence needed to heal divisions within our party, reclaim the constituency from the opposition, and deliver transformative representation that will place Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II on the national limelight for the right reasons.
Let us rise above primordial considerations, personal interests and instead support a candidate whose track record reflects exemplary service; whose youthful energy, competence, and passion are needed for the task ahead; and whose commitment to the progressive ideals of our great party remains unquestionable.
I therefore call on our leaders, and party faithful across Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II to come out en masse and vote for me, Segun Tomori (SET), as the flag bearer of our great party at the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives Primaries tomorrow, 16th May 2026.
Together, we can write a fresh chapter of PROGRESS & UNITY.
