The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammed Matawalle, has been honoured during his recent visit to Makkah, Saudi Arabia, where he performed the Umrah.
According to a statement by Director (Press & Public Relations) in defence ministry Henshaw Ogubike, the Chairman of Shurakar Alkhair Group and Leader of the Saudi-based hajj service providers group, Musa Hamid Jibril, organised a warm reception in honour of the Nigerian Minister of State for Defence.
While in Saudi Arabia Dr. Matawalle’s presence was met with great respect, emphasizing the significance of diplomatic relations and shared commitments to peace and security.
The minister during the Umrah procession, prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s success and that of the Nigerian Armed Forces and Nigeria as a whole.
