ASUU Strike: ASUU Postpones Meeting With FG indefinitely

In what seems to be a long unending battle, the meeting between the Federal Government and Academic Staff Union of Universities has been suspended indefinitely.

This was disclosed by the President of the Union, Prof. Abiodun Ogunyemi via the Twitter handle of the pressure group on Wednesday.

He explained that the meeting was postponed because the time frame given to the union to consult its members is too short.

It tweeted, “The FG-ASUU Meeting Scheduled To Hold Today Has Been Postponed Indefinitely.”

The reason for the postponement “according to ASUU President was because the time frame given to the union to consult its members is too short.”
