The Young Ambassadors for Development (YAD) which is the dynamic Youth arm of the African Centre for Leadership Strategy and Development (Centre LSD), announces its monthly virtual meeting scheduled to take place on Friday, 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM WAT live on Centre LSD Facebook page.
In a statement by the focal person, Blessed Mfon, the discussion will focus on “Youth Development in Nigeria. She emphasized that this series is part of YAD’s ongoing initiative to provide a dedicated platform for Nigerian youth to express their views, share insights, and engage in meaningful dialogue on key topics including Youth Development, Leadership, Governance, Technology, and Opportunities.
The goal is to foster a youth-focused Nigeria by diving deep into these important national issues.
The discussion sessions will feature insights from young development advocates and leaders as they explore various facets of youth development within the Nigerian context, challenges, and potential pathways forward.
YAD is driven by the vision of an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable Africa responsive to youth aspirations. Through initiatives like this discussion series, YAD actively works towards its core objectives, particularly:
• Youth Voice Amplification: Providing platforms for young people to express ideas and influence processes.
• Capacity Building: Equipping youth with knowledge and skills for active engagement in governance and development.
• Youth Advocacy: Championing youth-led actions that promote for sustainable development and accountable governance.
