
Gov. Ahmed Ododo of Kogi, has urged Christians to pray for Nigeria’s unity, peace, and prosperity, at Christmas, and to support President Bola Tinubu’s reforms.
Ododo made the call in his Christmas message through the State’s Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr Kingsley Fanwo, on Thursday in Lokoja.
He described Christmas as a time for reflection, renewal, and commitment to values that unite humanity.
He urged citizens to remember the nation in their prayers, as the country is at a critical stage.
Ododo also prayed for wisdom, strength, and health of the President, as he leads economic reforms and national renewal.
The governor commended Tinubu’s people-focused reforms, adding that they are expanding opportunities with Kogi State benefiting from improved governance and investments.
Ododo noted that his administration has invested in infrastructure, security, human capital, and social welfare, to improve the lives of Kogi residents.
He urged citizens to support the President’s agenda and administration’s programmes, stressing that progress requires patience, unity, and shared responsibility.
The governor wished Nigerians a joyous Christmas and a peaceful festive season.
