FRSC decorates newly promoted officers in Anambra

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Anambra Sector Command, on Wednesday decorated newly promoted officers in the state with new ranks.

During the ceremony held at the command’s headquarters in Awka, the Sector Commander, Mrs Joyce Alexander, urged the newly promoted officers to see their elevation as a call to greater responsibility.

“Promotion is a sign of progress and a well-earned reward for hard work and dedication.

“The commission considered the promotion of three officers to their next ranks in Anambra.

“An officer, Mrs Chioma Ndulue, was promoted to Chief Route Commander while Margaret Onabe and Kingsley Iloduba, were promoted to Superintendent Route Commanders.

“Congratulations to you all.

“This achievement is well earned and I’m confident you will excel in your new responsibilities,”she said.

One of the promoted officers, Mrs Margaret Onabe, on behalf of others expressed gratitude to the Corps for finding them worthy of the promotion.

She added that the recognition would serve as motivation for them to give their best toward the successful realisation of the Corps’ mandate.

Also, Mrs Chioma Ndulue, who was promoted to the rank of Chief Route Commander, pledged to meet the expectations of her new role.
