Kaduna Train Attack: MCO DG consoles Gov El-Rufai, families of victims

The Director General of the Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office (MCO), Engr. Obadiah Simon Nkom on Thursday, extended his condolence to the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the Deputy Governor, Hajiya Hadiza Balarabe and the entire people of Kaduna State over the unprecedented attack on the Abuja – Kaduna bound train.

A statement from the mineral licensing agency, signed by the Head of Media and Publicity, Folasade Fatoke quoted the Director General as saying: “My heart goes out to you and our people in Kaduna State at this time of grief,” adding that the sad news was received with deep shock and disbelief.

While also consoling with the families of the victims, Engr Nkom prayed God to grant the state government the wisdom needed to address security challenges and the wisdom to sustain the development of the state.

Engr Nkom handed over a letters of condolence to be forwarded to the Kaduna State Governor and a copy to the Deputy Governor.

The Liaison Officer of Kaduna State in the Federal Capital Territory, Hajiya Hannatu Dalhat who commended the gesture, said Engr. Nkom has set the pace in paying condolence to the Liaison Office, adding that Kaduna is home to the Director General of the Mining Cadastre Office.
