Senior Special Assistant to Kogi governor on Solid Mineral Resources, Engineer Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf has called on the delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to vote Pharm. Abdulkreem Mohammed Jamiu, as flag bearer of the party in the forthcoming governorship primary in the state.

Jamiu, popularly known as Asuku, will slug it out with 18 other aspirants for the party’s sole ticket. APC’s primary election is scheduled for Friday, April 14, 2023 in Lokoja, the state capital.

Asuku, a former Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello and Director Campaign Organisation, Tinubu/ Shettima Campaign Council, Kogi chapter, helped the party to deliver the state for the APC presidential candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and won the three senate seats for the party.

Ahovi, who described Asuku as credible, transparent and a man of integrity, with full knowledge of governance, said he will put the state first in his dealings if given the nod to govern the state.

He said Jamiu’s humanitarian services cut across all strata of the 21 LGAS in the state.

“His generosity to humanity in terms of paying medical bills, school fees and giving financial assistance to the indigents will give him an edge over every other candidate from opposition parties in the November 11 2023 election.

Ahovi, a seasoned mining engineer thus pleaded with the delegates to shun religion and ethnic sentiment and vote for Asuku to succeed Governor Yahaya Bello.
