Aminatu Chiroma

In Nigeria’s evolving business landscape, where resilience and innovation define success, Aminatu Dahiru Chiroma stands out as a quiet force shaping industries while uplifting communities. A business executive with a strong sense of purpose, she has built a reputation that blends corporate leadership with deep academic grounding and meaningful social impact.

As Group President of Binani Global Air Services, Chiroma is at the helm of an emerging aviation brand, steering its growth across key domestic routes. Her role goes far beyond executive oversight; she drives strategic vision, ensures strict regulatory compliance, fosters high-level partnerships, and positions the airline as a competitive and trusted player in Nigeria’s aviation sector. With a leadership philosophy anchored in safety, innovation, and operational excellence, she continues to build a company defined by reliability and long-term sustainability.

Her influence extends further as Group President of the Binani Group of Companies, a diversified Abuja-based conglomerate with interests spanning printing, construction, oil and gas, and commodity trading. Under her leadership, the Group has witnessed sustained expansion and operational strengthening. From the high-capacity operations of Binani Printing Press—recognised as one of the largest in West Africa—to infrastructure delivery through Binani Construction Company and strategic ventures in energy and trading, Chiroma has consistently driven growth, governance, and cross-sector efficiency.

What distinguishes her leadership is not only her corporate achievements but the intellectual depth that underpins them. Chiroma’s academic journey reflects a deliberate pursuit of knowledge across disciplines critical to modern business leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information Technology with Business Studies from the University of East London, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Computing and Information Systems from the University of Greenwich. Strengthening her managerial capacity, she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Leadership and Management, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Oil and Gas Management (2025), both from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and regulatory understanding, she is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M) at the University of London—an academic pursuit that further enhances her expertise in governance, compliance, and corporate law. In addition to her degrees, she holds several professional certifications, including a Chartered Management Certificate from the Chartered Management Institute in London, a Certified Internet Web Professional (CIW Associate Certification), and the European Computer Driving License (ECDL). These qualifications collectively reinforce her competence in technology integration, management systems, and organisational leadership.

Her professional journey began in the United Kingdom, where she served as Executive Director at Binatech System Limited between 2009 and 2011. There, she honed her skills in business strategy, stakeholder engagement, and operational management. Upon returning to Nigeria, she assumed the role of Group Managing Director of Binani Group of Companies in 2011, where she led major restructuring efforts and strategic expansion initiatives that laid the foundation for the Group’s current scale and influence.

Yet, beyond boardrooms and balance sheets, Chiroma remains deeply committed to social impact. Through the Aminatu Goje Foundation, she leads initiatives focused on empowering women, supporting children, and improving community welfare. The foundation’s work spans maternal health programmes, orphanage outreach, youth engagement, and advocacy for the girl child and safe motherhood—demonstrating her belief that sustainable development must include those at the grassroots.

Despite her association with prominent public figures, she has maintained a distinct and independent professional identity. Known for her disciplined, low-profile lifestyle, she places strong emphasis on continuous learning, strategic thinking, and purposeful leadership.

Her contributions have earned her notable recognitions, including the “Beacon of Hope for Africa’s Development” award by the All Africa Students Union and the West African Merit Award for her leadership in the printing industry. Earlier in her academic journey, she was also honoured as “Best Student in Sciences” at Global International College—an early indication of the excellence that continues to define her path.

In Aminatu Dahiru Chiroma emerges a modern Nigerian leader whose strength lies not only in her executive authority but in the depth of knowledge she brings to it. She represents a compelling model of leadership—where education, enterprise, and empathy converge to drive both economic progress and social transformation.
