The Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG) has announced the schedule of its 2023 Mandatory Professional Examination (MPE) saying that the Sit-in Examination, which is a Computer Based Test (CBT), would take place on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October 2023 in four locations across the country, namely, Abuja, Akure, Jos and Port Harcourt.
Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Council, Prof Zacheus Opafunso who confirmed the schedule to our correspondent in Abuja, said: ‘The Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists will continue to accept completed application form (s) up till Sunday 24th September 2023,’ adding that late submission starts thereafter with a penalty of twenty thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only, and ends on Wednesday 4th October 2023.
Announcing the schedule of COMEG’s Online MPE, the Registrar said: ‘It is scheduled for Saturday 14th October 2023,’ adding that the Executive Oral Interview, an exercise that is currently ongoing, will end on 30th November 2023.
