
In keeping with the commitment of the recently held “Strengthening Democracy in Nigeria Conference” and ensure the momentum generated by the conference do not wane, the Conveners: African Centre for Leadership Strategy & Development (Centre LSD), Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), Peering Advocacy and Advancement Centre in Africa (PAACA) have scheduled to host a Civil Society Organizations (CSO) strategy meeting on Friday 14th February 2025 at the nation’s capital, Abuja to take forward the resolutions.
The 2- Day Conference which held on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th January 2025 had in the adopted communique highlighted germane roles CSO and the Media should play to advance the aspirations harnessed during the conference towards deepening Nigeria’s democratic credentials.
A statement by Centre LSD’s Director of Strategy, Mr. Itia Otabor said the strategy meeting will provide opportunity for CSOs to articulate Strategies to guide their post conference activities.
Outputs and outcomes being aftermath of the conference, shall also be harvested at the meeting.
