The Minister of Steel Development, Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has felicitated with Muslims across Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging citizens to embrace unity, peace and sacrifice for national development.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji, the minister called on Nigerians to reflect on the virtues of obedience, tolerance and faith as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.
According to Audu, the Eid-el-Kabir festival serves as a reminder of the importance of selfless service to humanity and collective commitment to national progress.
“The sacred festival serves as a reminder of the need for unity, peace and selfless service to humanity,” he stated.
The minister also urged Nigerians to continue supporting and praying for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration as it works towards national development and economic recovery.
He prayed for lasting peace, stability and economic prosperity in the country while wishing Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous celebration with their families and loved ones.
