Bode Abifarin has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of MoMo Payment Service Bank (MoMo PSB), effective September 1, 2026.
Abifarin brings more than 23 years of experience across financial services, consulting, digital payments, fintech, strategy and business transformation. Her career includes serving as Chief Operating Officer of Flutterwave, where she contributed to scaling the company across multiple markets, as well as 15 years at KPMG, advising organisations across Africa on strategy, transformation, customer experience and growth.
In her new role, Abifarin will lead MoMo PSB through its next phase of growth, with a focus on expanding access to innovative, secure and customer-focused digital financial services in Nigeria.
Her mandate will also include deepening financial inclusion and creating greater value for individuals, businesses and communities through digital financial services. The appointment reflects MoMo PSB’s focus on strengthening its leadership and accelerating the growth of digital finance in Nigeria and across Africa.
