KOGI: Ododo’s victory, an outcome of Gov. Yahaya Bello’s people-oriented leadership, says APC Stalwart, Ahovi

 

 

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Engr. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf has described the election of Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo as an expression of the will of the people, adding that the ability of Gov. Yahaya Bello to strengthen the unity of the Kogi APC as well as provide credible leadership is a key factor that won victory for the party in the State.

Ahovi, who is the Senior Special Assistant on Mineral Resources to Gov Yahaya Bello, expressed confidence in the ability of the Governor–elect to consolidate on the achievements of the Yahaya Bello administration, adding that government was already harnessing the solid mineral potentials of the state for economic diversification through its creation of wealth and jobs.

In a statement on Monday, the accomplished Mining Engineer and solid minerals professional, stated: “I congratulate our Governor-elect, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo and I also thank my ward, which comprises Osisi/Ipaku/Inoziomi for voting massively for the flag bearer of the APC, Alh Uman Ododo, and I also thank the people of my LGA, Adavi LGA for their support throughout the electioneering campaign.”

Assuring the electorate that the incoming government of Ahmed Usman Ododo will strengthen the delivery of good governance and dividends of democracy to the people Kogi State, he said: “I believe that the incoming government will consolidate and continue the achievements of our leader, the outgoing governor, His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello,” adding that the incoming administration will take the State to greater pedestal.

According to Ahovi, a seasoned Engineer and mining expert, “the incoming administration will continue the focus of government on solid minerals development, noting that the policy will lead to the full realization of economic diversification, a quest he said will create multiple great jobs and wealth along the solid mineral industry value chain.”
