
The Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals Development has announced two live information sessions for prospective applicants seeking grant funding under its EMERGE initiative.
The sessions, scheduled for Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21, 2026, are designed to provide applicants with detailed guidance on eligibility requirements, available funding streams and the application process.
According to the Ministry, the interactive sessions will be hosted by the EMERGE team, giving prospective applicants an opportunity to ask questions and receive clarification before submitting their applications.
The first session, focusing on Exploration & Critical Minerals, will hold on Thursday, August 20, from 12pm to 1pm.
The second session, dedicated to Research & Development, is scheduled for Friday, August 21, from 11am to 12pm.
The Ministry urged interested individuals, researchers, innovators and other eligible stakeholders to take advantage of the sessions and gain a better understanding of the grant programme.

The EMERGE programme is part of the Federal Government’s efforts to stimulate investment, research, innovation and sustainable development in Nigeria’s solid minerals sector.
