The of Anambra State the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has successfully conducted a oneday orientation programme for the newly-employed staff of the Board posted to the facility as part of its efforts to familiarize them with the mandate, structure, and operational procedures of the Board.
The event, which was held on Monday, 10th August, 2026, was coordinated by the State Coordinator, Dr. Dinah Ifunanya Obiano, on Monday, 10th August, 2026, in Awka. In her address, Dr. Dinah congratulated the new officials on their appointment and welcomed them to the service of the Board.
According to her, understanding the Board’s key operations is essential for effective service delivery. She, therefore, charged the new staff to acquaint themselves with both the core mandate of the Board and the specific responsibilities of the State Office.
In her words: “Familiarity with our processes will enhance efficiency, promote professionalism, and help to uphold the integrity of the Board.” The occasion also featured an interactive session whereby Heads of Units of the State Office gave briefings on the schedule of duties of their respective Divisions to the new staff. The session also provided ample opportunities for questions, answers and expressions of goodwill.
