Ibadan Zonal Director Congratulates Prof. Aina On Assumption Of Office

The Director, Ibadan Zonal Office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mrs. Catherine Temitope Akintola, has congratulated Prof Segun Aina on his assumption of office as the 6th Registrar of the Board. She described his appointment as a significant milestone in the continued pursuit of excellence and innovation in the administration of Nigeria’s tertiary education.

In her congratulatory message, the Zonal Director lauded Prof. Aina’s proactive leadership disposition, noting that his resolve to reposition the Board has been evident from the very first week of his administration.

She observed that the Registrar’s strategic direction has inspired renewed confidence among members of staff, institutions, partners and stakeholders, while building on the existing foundation for improved institutional performance and service delivery.

Mrs. Catherine Temitope Akintola particularly commended the effort Board’s and Registrar’s at deliberate strengthening the communication public engagement framework, describing effective communication as a critical tool for fostering public confidence and advancing the Board’s mandate.

According to the Director, the proactive initiatives introduced within the Registrar’s first two weeks in office underscored his commitment to building a more responsive, transparent, and service-oriented institution capable of meeting the expectations of its diverse stakeholders. She also thanked him for his clear and unambiguous message that the Board’s members of staff are his greatest assets.

The Zonal Director, therefore, urged all members of staff to demonstrate unwavering commitment to Prof. Aina’s vision by embracing the ideals and reforms of the new administration. She stressed that the success of the Registrar’s agenda would depend largely on the collective dedication, professionalism, and cooperation of the workforce in driving the Board’s mission of transforming the Nigeria’s tertiary education system.
